Maps of Proposed 'Coburg Activity Centre'
Take a close look at how Coburg could look under Amendment C123...
Coburg Station and Sydney Road NOTE: - The planning scheme amendment in its current form will allow 10 storey buildings very close to existing residential houses in some parts of this precinct. - There is very little provision for green or community spaces. - There is no indication that the Greek Orthodox Church will be preserved.
Bell Street North NOTE: - 10 storey buildings very close to single storey residences. - The majority of these buildings appear to have only an 8 metre setback to the North guaranteed by the amendment. - Precinct 2 is being treated differently to other residential areas, presumably only because it contains the north side of Bell Street. In Precincts 4, 6 and 7, which also abut residential areas, the height restrictions in the planned amendment limit the allowed buildings to 4 and 5 s
